Job summary

Pavion, a leader in fire, security, and communication integration, seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple fire protection projects in the Boston area. You will coordinate design, procurement, subcontractor work, and on-site execution to meet schedule and budget.

The role requires 3–5 years in fire protection project management, NICET certification, knowledge of NFPA standards, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in the fire protection industry, project management.
• Experience in managing fire alarm installations, designing fire alarm systems and creating submittal packages.
• Knowledge of NFPA and trade standards.
• NICET certification.
• Valid driver’s record or acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage, direct, and coordinate all aspects of multiple and simultaneous projects
• Responsible for project execution and successful completion
• Manage RFIs, submittals, contracts, change order requests, subcontractor change orders, etc.
• Work with other construction trades to ensure projects stay within schedule
• Communicate to operations manager all project status
• Responsible for managing & procurement to ensure budget estimates

Primary Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3‑5 years’ experience in the fire protection industry, project management
• Experience in managing fire alarm installations, designing fire alarm systems and creating submittal packages
• Experience with FA products such as FCI, Notifier, Firelite, Gamewell, etc. Good communications skills written and verbal
• Knowledge of NFPA and trade standards
• NICET certification
• Valid driver’s record or acceptable driving record

Salary: $80,000 to $120,000 depending on experience
