Job summary

V-Soft Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking a seasoned project manager for technology initiatives based in Boise, ID.

Candidates will drive deadlines, manage critical paths, and coordinate cross‑vendor and state resources through planning, go‑live, and certification. The role requires gathering requirements, prioritizing data aggregation and analytics, and delivering reports while maintaining executive updates and issue resolution with management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years project management experience in technology projects.
• Ability to manage deadlines and the critical path for project success.
• Ability to gather requirements and prioritize execution of data aggregation, analytics, and report development.
• Coordinate resources across multiple vendors and state teams through planning, implementation, go-live, and certification.
• Analyze project progress and adapt when necessary.
• Establish and maintain relationships and provide updates to appropriate audiences as needed.
• Present to department executives and legislative body on project progress.
• Ability to actively work to expose issues as early as possible and work with Management to resolve.

Education and Experience

• 5+ years project management experience in technology projects.

Knowledge and Skills

• Ability to manage to deadlines and the critical path for project success
• Ability to gather requirements and prioritize execution of data aggregation, analytics, and report development
• Ensure end product meets requirements and deliverables for the EDW
• Coordinate resources across multiple vendors and state teams through planning, implementation, go-live, and certification
• Analyze project progress and adapt when necessary
• Establish and maintain relationships and provide updates to appropriate audiences as needed
• Present to department executives and legislative body on project progress
• Ability to actively work to expose issues as early as possible and work with Management to resolve

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with change management, organizing training, and communication to ensure a smooth roll-out of new systems and processes
