Job summary

V-Soft Consulting Group, Inc. in St. Louis, MO is seeking an IT Project Manager II to lead technology initiatives from planning through closure.

You will oversee scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and changes while coordinating cross-functional teams and vendors. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of project management experience and can navigate predictive/waterfall, Agile, and hybrid approaches. PMP and degree are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT/Digital projects from planning through closure.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and changes.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, forecasts, RAID items, and status reporting.
• Coordinate activities and dependencies across business, technical, and vendor teams.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects that may span applications, data, integrations, infrastructure, vendor solutions, and other technology initiatives.
• Communicate project status, risks, issues, and decisions to stakeholders and leadership.
• Drive accountability for project commitments and elevate issues when appropriate.

Education and Experience

• 5+ years of Project Management experience in medium to large organizations
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and cross-team dependencies.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Demonstrated experience managing technology projects using predictive/waterfall, Agile, and hybrid approaches.
• Strong project planning, scheduling, financial management, risk, issue, and change management skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Project/Planner and Jira.
• PMP preferred but not required.
• Degree preferred but not required.
