Jobot is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a major water treatment project in Barnstable, MA. This on-site role requires leadership to steer day-to-day execution, controls, and cost management from site operations to turnover.

Qualifications

• Experience with water and/or wastewater treatment projects.
• Extensive knowledge of construction practices, methods, and procedures.
• Four-year degree in construction or related field, or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
• Demonstrated financial management and negotiation skills.
• Strong communication and listening skills, including the ability to resolve conflict diplomatically.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to build team morale.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software such as Procore or similar.
• Experience with accounting/cost management and scheduling software such as Primavera or similar.
• OSHA 30 certification is required.
• LEED certification, Lean certification, and CPR/First Aid training are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage project planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Manage project financials, including Owner Pay Applications, cost reports, production reports, and cost and revenue projections.
• Oversee field staff and the operations team assigned to the project.
• Lead project buyout and procurement, including scope review and negotiation, subcontracts, purchase orders, submittals, deliveries, and subcontractor/vendor management.
• Monitor construction progress and work collaboratively with the Superintendent to resolve operational issues.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, trade partners, and other project stakeholders.
• Lead project meetings and provide clear reporting and documentation regarding project status and potential issues.
• Coordinate with internal departments including BIM, Scheduling, MEP, and Estimating.
• Establish and implement project-specific safety goals and ensure compliance with project safety requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and help strengthen project delivery processes.

Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the day-to-day execution, project controls, project engineering, cost, risk, and business management of a major water treatment project.

This is an onsite Project Manager position. While you will work closely with field operations, your primary responsibility will be project management and leadership. You will lead and coordinate the project team, trade partners, and other stakeholders throughout construction, plant start-up, and turnover.
