Job summary

Healthcare Recruiters International is seeking a Project Manager to join a fast-growing interactive digital health startup. You will own end-to-end project delivery, from planning and scheduling to execution and release, coordinating with product, engineering, QA and other stakeholders.

You will lead multiple development initiatives using Agile/Scrum, facilitate standups and sprints, track progress, manage risks, and ensure timelines and requirements are met.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of project management experience in software/SaaS.
• Strong Agile/Scrum knowledge and modern development practices.
• Proven track record leading technical projects across multiple teams.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Jira, Trello, Confluence, or Asana.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Business, or related field.

Our client is an exciting interactive digital health startup company of therapy and technology scientists. The company’s SaaS model of fully automated and patented software generates personalized therapy programs to eliminate pain as an on-demand digital therapist.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end project delivery—from planning and scheduling to execution and release.
• Manage multiple concurrent development initiatives using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Break down projects into manageable tasks, assign resources, and track progress.
• Act as the primary liaison between development, product, QA, and other departments.
• Facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies.
• Ensure alignment on timelines, deliverables, and technical requirements.
• Identify project risks and roadblocks early; develop and execute mitigation plans.
• Manage scope changes, communicate impacts, and gain stakeholder approval.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including timelines, requirements, and sprint reports.
• Use tools like Jira, Confluence, Asana, or equivalent to manage and report on work progress.
• Continuously analyze and improve development workflows, reporting, and team velocity.
• Promote best practices in project management, documentation, and agile execution.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in project management within a software development or SaaS environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern development practices.
• Proven track record managing technical projects across multiple teams.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management and tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Confluence, Asana).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP).
• Experience in healthcare, health tech, or regulated environments (HIPAA, SOC 2, etc.).
• Familiarity with APIs, cloud architecture, or mobile/web app development processes.
• Background working closely with both engineering and product management teams.
