MB HAYNES Corporation is seeking a Project Manager in Asheville, NC to coordinate and complete projects on time and within budget. Qualifications

• Five years of experience in project management preferred.
• Understanding of code compliance and quality control.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Project.
• Experience with the creation of schedules and schedule updates.
• Willingness to learn new programs and systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with current customers while identifying and securing new customers.
• Represent HCG in preconstruction activities in order to secure work.
• Manage and complete pricing exercises for customers including budgetary estimates, negotiated proposals and hard bids.
• Accurately set up project budgets and schedules.
• Manage and complete accurate subcontract agreements.
• Visit projects regularly to provide input into means, methods, schedule as well as meeting with the owner and design team.
• Collaborate with project superintendents, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to deliver successful projects.
• Provide solutions for customers while maintaining profitability.
• Ensure projects comply with all safety standards and codes, as well as legal requirements.

Position Summary:

The individual will oversee all aspects of the project, including bidding, managing contracts and subcontracts, scheduling, permitting, monitoring submittals and RFIs, customer billing, project closeout, and managing documentation on Procore, among other duties. The ideal candidate must be able to effectively communicate with a variety of groups, including co-workers, owner representatives, vendors, office personnel, and subcontractors.
