We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and execute high-visibility projects in Hawaii. This role is ideal for a proven leader with experience managing complex projects involving government, Department of Defense (DoD), or similar mission-critical stakeholders.

We are particularly interested in former military officers and PMP-certified professionals with DoD experience who thrive in fast-paced environments and can independently drive projects from planning through completion.

Position Summary

The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful execution of projects from kickoff to closeout, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This individual will collaborate with clients, subcontractors, field personnel, and internal teams while serving as the primary point of accountability for project performance.

The ideal candidate combines strong leadership skills, business acumen, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to build relationships and drive results across multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage projects from initiation through closeout
  • Own project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and overall performance
  • Coordinate activities among clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
  • Provide clear and consistent project status updates to clients and leadership
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, project reviews, and quality assurance activities
  • Manage subcontractor performance and project deliverables
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, safety, and operational requirements
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle
  • Drive continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and delivery methods
Successful candidates will:
  • Deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget
  • Build trusted relationships with clients and project stakeholders
  • Drive accountability across project teams and subcontractors
  • Solve problems proactively and effectively
  • Contribute to the growth and operational excellence of Modtech Solutions
Why Join Modtech Solutions?
  • Opportunity to lead impactful, high-visibility projects
  • Direct exposure to executive leadership
  • Growing organization with advancement opportunities
  • Collaborative, mission-driven culture
  • Ability to make a meaningful impact on clients, projects, and company growth
