Job summary

Torch Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Project Management Support Specialist at AEDC, Arnold AFB, TN. The role covers procurement support, contract administration assistance, and records management for diverse projects.

The candidate will support planning and execution, coordinate across teams, and maintain project documentation. This position requires DoW Secret clearance eligibility and strong communication and organization skills.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship requirement.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field (or 6 years of relevant experience).
• 0–3 years of related experience.
• Highly organized with excellent communication skills.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoW Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage project phases from Initiation to Closeout.
• Participate in monthly Air Force project review briefings.
• Lead weekly/bi-weekly project update meetings.
• Inform Air Force of risks, opportunities, and progress.
• Assist with oversight of complex projects of varying sizes.
• Follow system engineering milestones (IBR, PDR, CDR, VRR, FAT, FCA, PCA).
• Maintain accurate documentation of project activities and decisions.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Torch Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Project Management Support Specialist position located at the at the Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) at Arnold AFB, TN. The candidate will provide a wide range of services including procurement support, contract administration assistance, and records management/administrative support for a variety of planning and executing projects.

Your duties include, but are not limited to:

• Working knowledge of project phases (Initiation, Planning, Design, Execution, and Closeout).
• Participate in monthly project review briefings for our Air Force customer.
• Holding and/or participating in weekly/bi-weekly meetings for project updates.
• Advise the Air Force of any project disconnects, risks, opportunities, and overall progress.
• Assist with project oversight of complex projects of all sizes.
• Follow a structured system engineering approach that facilitates project milestone reviews including but not limited to; Integrated Baseline Review (IBR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), Verification Readiness Review (VRR), Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Functional Configuration Audit (FCA), and Physical Configuration Audit (PCA).
• Assess contractor documentation against project requirements.
• Assist in maintaining accurate documentation of project activities, decisions, and outcomes.
• Foster and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution across all locations.

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field. Note: A Bachelor's degree can be substituted with 6 years of relevant experience OR an Associates degree and 4 years of relevant experience.
• 0-3 Years of directly related experience.
• Highly organized with excellent communication skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Must be able to acquire and maintain a DoW Secret clearance. Clearance level must be maintained throughout employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP certification desirable .
