Charleston County is seeking a Project Management Specialist to oversee professional project management and coordination for capital projects and departmental improvements. The role supports projects from planning to completion, coordinating stakeholders, and monitoring schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables to improve the County’s capital program.
Open until filled; salary range posted is $60,840 to $79,684 annually. Experience with ACC, MS Project, e-Builder, or Procore is preferred.
The Project Management Specialist performs professional project management and coordination work for capital projects and internal departmental improvement initiatives. The incumbent supports assigned projects from planning through completion, coordinating stakeholders, monitoring schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables, and contributing to both project execution and departmental operations. This is a collaborative role within a small team responsible for delivering public improvements and improving the systems and processes that support the County’s capital program.
