Job summary

Kids for the Future seeks a Project Management SkillBridge Trainee to gain hands-on experience across project lifecycles, from initiation to completion. You will learn foundational PM methodologies and apply them in a dynamic, supportive setting to bridge military service to civilian careers.

You'll work with cross-functional teams, assist in planning, tracking, and reporting, and contribute to risk management and stakeholder engagement while developing leadership capabilities for future roles

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Currently enrolled in or completion of a SkillBridge program.
• Military service provides leadership or organizational experience.
• Willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing project plans with defined scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Manage and track project tasks, ensuring timely completion and proper resource allocation.
• Facilitate clear communication among team members and stakeholders with updates and reports.
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for documentation, presentations, and data analysis.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and adjust timelines as needed.
• Create and organize project documentation including meeting minutes and status reports.
• Collaborate with team to create a positive, productive work environment.
• Identify potential risks and help develop mitigation strategies.
• Support stakeholder management by gathering requirements and communicating status.
• Apply problem-solving skills to address challenges and optimize workflows.
