Job summary

Kids for the Future seeks a Project Management SkillBridge Trainee to gain hands-on experience across project lifecycles, from initiation to completion. You will learn foundational PM methodologies and apply them in a dynamic, supportive setting to bridge military service to civilian careers.

You'll work with cross-functional teams, assist in planning, tracking, and reporting, and contribute to risk management and stakeholder engagement while developing leadership capabilities for future roles

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Currently enrolled in or completion of a SkillBridge program.
• Military service provides leadership or organizational experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing project plans with defined scope, objectives, and deliverables.

Job Duties and Responsibilities The Project Management SkillBridge Trainee actively supports project teams and contributes to various project phases. You learn and apply best practices under the guidance of experienced project managers.

Summary

DOW's Project Management SkillBridge Program provides transitioning service members with structured, hands‑on training in project management within a global manufacturing and materials science organization. Participants will gain practical experience supporting cross‑functional business initiatives while developing project planning, coordination, communication, risk management and stakeholder engagement skills.

This program is designed to prepare participants for civilian careers in project management across manufacturing, engineering, operations, supply chain, information technology, and corporate functions.
