Qualifications

• 15+ years leading enterprise delivery, PMO, or strategic initiatives.
• Minimum 10 years of Life & Annuity insurance industry experience.
• Experience building, leading, and scaling PMO or enterprise delivery organizations.
• Proven governance, prioritization, execution, and operational effectiveness.
• Strong portfolio management, enterprise planning, prioritization frameworks, and delivery governance.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to influence senior business and technology leaders.
• Experience driving transformation initiatives.

This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for a seasoned PMO, portfolio management, or enterprise transformation professional who thrives on improving execution, strengthening governance, and helping organizations achieve strategic outcomes. The individual selected will help shape how major initiatives are prioritized, governed, and delivered while collaborating with business and technology leaders across the enterprise.

What You'll Be Doing

Enterprise Delivery Leadership

• Lead the evolution of enterprise project and portfolio management practices.


• Drive consistency, accountability, and execution excellence across strategic initiatives.


• Partner with senior leaders to align delivery efforts with corporate objectives and measurable business outcomes.


• Establish frameworks that improve visibility, transparency, and decision-making across major programs.


• Help optimize enterprise priorities, resource allocation, and delivery capacity.


• Improve organizational workflows and remove barriers that slow execution.


• Develop scalable approaches for managing large portfolios of strategic initiatives.


• Create processes that enhance delivery efficiency and business value realization.

Governance & Strategic Planning

• Build and enhance governance processes that support effective execution and informed decision-making.


• Guide executive stakeholders through prioritization, tradeoff discussions, and risk management decisions.


• Ensure strategic programs remain aligned with organizational goals and enterprise priorities.

Leadership & Organizational Transformation

• Mentor and develop project management professionals and delivery leaders.


• Foster a culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.


• Influence executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams to adopt best practices and modern delivery approaches.


• Serve as a trusted advisor to both business and technology leadership teams.

Qualifications

Required

• 15+ years of experience leading enterprise delivery, PMO, portfolio management, transformation, or strategic initiatives.


• Minimum 10 years of Life & Annuity insurance industry experience.


• Experience building, leading, and scaling PMO or enterprise delivery organizations.


• Demonstrated success improving governance, prioritization, execution, and operational effectiveness within large organizations.


• Strong understanding of portfolio management, enterprise planning, prioritization frameworks, and delivery governance.


• Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills.


• Proven ability to influence business and technology leaders at senior levels.


• Experience driving change, transformation, and organizational improvement initiatives.

Preferred

• PMP certification or equivalent project leadership credentials.


• Advanced degree preferred.


• Strong business, financial, and operational acumen.


• Experience leading enterprise transformation initiatives within insurance or financial services environments.
