Pieper Electric, Inc. is seeking a Project Management Intern to support the safe, efficient, and profitable delivery of electrical construction projects while learning the project lifecycle from estimate through closeout.

You will work with project managers, project support teams, field leaders, Estimating, VDC, Prefabrication, Safety, and other partners to gain hands-on experience and grow professionally. This internship offers meaningful project ownership at an appropriate level and aims to

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Building Science, Business, or related field.
• Interest in electrical construction, project management, estimating, engineering, or field operations.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams; willingness to learn company project systems and technical tools.
• Ability to travel locally to project sites and work in both office and active construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project documentation, planning, coordination, material and vendor follow-up, and routine reporting.
• Support permits, inspections, utility-locate requests, site access needs, and other project-specific requirements.
• Participate in planning, scheduling, and resource coordination with project team and field.
• Learn how estimating, design, layout, VDC/BIM, prefabrication, and scheduling support field installation.
