Job summary

Pieper Electric is seeking a Project Management Intern to support electrical construction projects from estimate through field execution and closeout. You will work with project managers, field leaders, and support teams to help document, plan, coordinate, and track costs and communication.

The internship emphasizes hands-on project ownership and development of technical, business, and professional skills for an early-career role within Pieper Electric.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction science, electrical or mechanical engineering, building science, business, or a related field.
• Interest in electrical construction, project management, estimating, engineering, or field operations.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams; willingness to learn company project systems and technical tools.

Responsibilities

• Support project documentation, planning, and coordination with PMs and field teams.
• Assist with project startup, estimating handoff, document control, routine reporting, and coordination of defined action items.
• Track job activity, including materials, equipment, resources, deadlines, and open items; communicate status and potential issues promptly.
