Job summary

Quest Global is seeking a driven Controls System Design Engineer Intern to join our Houston-based team. This internship offers practical experience in oil and gas engineering with focus on design and analysis to achieve business objectives.

You will support the controls team, collaborate with senior engineers, and prepare documentation. Ideal candidates are enrolled in engineering programs and have AI tools experience; strong communication and time-management skills are valued.

Responsibilities

Job Description

We are seeking a driven and business-savvy Controls system Design Engineer Intern to join our dynamic team. What You Will Do

What You Will Bring
  • Currently enrolled in bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in AI Programming tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a business-oriented mindset.

Pay Range: $14.00- $16.00/hr

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure.

Work Requirements

This role is considered an on-site position located in Houston, TX

You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.

Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs..
