Job summary

Quest Global in Greenville, SC, seeks a seasoned professional to lead Engineering Learning & Development. You will shape and execute the enterprise training strategy, own the training process, certifications, and compliance, and partner with engineering leaders to close competency gaps.

You will design instructor-led, self-paced, and digital learning content, evaluate new technologies such as VR, AI, and digital twins, and drive modernization of technical training to uplift workforce capability

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering/related field; education and experience considered.
  • 5–10+ years in engineering training, technical program management, or organizational development.
  • Experience managing enterprise training, LMS, certifications, competency programs, and compliance.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication, project management, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the Engineering Learning & Development strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  • Own the enterprise engineering training process: assignments, completion, certifications, compliance, recordkeeping, reporting, and audit readiness.
  • Establish and maintain engineering competency frameworks, certification programs, onboarding, and professional development programs.
  • Work with Engineering Excellence Office and leaders to understand competency gaps and develop gap closure plans.
  • Coordinate development of instructor-led, self-paced, and digital learning content created by SMEs.
  • Evaluate emerging learning technologies and recommend scalable solutions that improve technical learning and knowledge retention.
  • Collaborate with the Innovation Team and SMEs to deploy VR, AI, digital twins, and simulations to modernize training.

What You Will Do

Required Qualifications
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Education, Business, or a related field. Equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience will also be considered.
  • 5–10+ years of experience in engineering training, technical program management, organizational development, or a related discipline.
  • Experience managing enterprise training, Learning Management Systems (LMS), certifications, competency programs, and compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, project management, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within industrial manufacturing, controls, automation, power generation, or other technical engineering environments.
  • Experience partnering with SMEs to translate complex engineering knowledge into structured learning programs.
  • Knowledge of competency management, change management, continuous improvement, and knowledge management principles.
  • Experience with digital learning platforms, immersive learning, VR, AI-assisted learning, digital twins, or engineering simulations.

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements

We offer flexible work options, including hybrid arrangements, to support the need of the role and align with company policies. This position is located in Greenville, SC and is considered hybrid with 3 days required on-site.

  • You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
  • Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Pay Range: $80K-$120K / Annum.
Travel requirements:

Due to the nature of the work, 20% of travel is required.
