Job Description

  • Lead the implementation and integration of the Guidewire platform into downstream systems within a Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance company.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage project scope, assess risks, and communicate transparently with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the Guidewire platform and industry best practices.
  • Hold implementation teams accountable for deliverables, manage stakeholder expectations, and handle escalations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple project workstreams, ensuring timely delivery and high client engagement.
  • Work with clients and stakeholders to address business challenges, leading solution-focused teams when necessary.
  • Oversee Guidewire implementation and system integration projects from initiation to go-live.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resources, and risks.
  • Ensure adherence to project scope and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Promote effective communication among team members and stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve project issues and risks proactively.
  • Conduct project reviews to identify improvements and refine strategies.
  • Ensure data migration and integration between Guidewire and other systems are seamless.
  • Assist in testing strategies to ensure quality and reliability of solutions.
  • Support user training and documentation efforts.
