Opportunity Overview
Project Management Consultant – Early-Stage Solar (Contract 1 Year, 100% Onsite)
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Take ownership of assigned solar projects and manage them through the early-stage process in collaboration with the Regional Lead.
- Deliver a technically practical, schedule‑appropriate, commercially supported, and financially viable project.
- Analyze technical and financial data; build variables, indicators, and trends relevant to the projects.
- Create and manage assigned solar project capital budgets.
- Coordinate development and permitting support, engage subject‑matter experts, and facilitate engineering and problem resolution.
- Support capital budget approvals, develop construction plans and schedules, negotiate and execute commercial contracts, and investigate optimization opportunities.
- Use multiple software applications to support project activities, manage critical data and deliverables.
- Communicate and interface with Executive Leadership with support from the Regional Lead.
- Perform any additional tasks required by the Regional Lead to maintain overall group organization, data deliverables, team readiness, and project viability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Engineering.
- Strong financial and data analysis skills.
- Mechanical awareness and interest in technical variables.
- Experience in construction, the energy industry, and/or solar projects.
- Strong interest in career growth on the project‑management path.
