Job summary

MLC, headquartered in St. Louis, Mo., invites applications for a Project Management Co-Op based at our Ste. Genevieve lime facility.

In this role you will support capital projects, plant improvements and maintenance initiatives, gaining hands-on exposure across the project lifecycle from feasibility through closeout. You’ll collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and Finance to define scopes, budgets and schedules, and you’ll develop skills in reporting, safety compliance and data

Qualifications

• Pursuing an engineering degree with sophomore year or higher.
• Experience working in industrial manufacturing, mining, or chemical processing environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with capital project planning, budgeting, and feasibility studies.
• Support project justification through costs, benefits, and operational impact analyses.
• Define project objectives, timelines, and success metrics with stakeholders.
• Review engineering drawings, documentation, and project specs.
• Develop scopes of work, cost estimates, bid packages, and contractor evaluations.
• Track schedules and budgets to ensure project execution.
• Assist with construction oversight and safety compliance.
• Coordinate among Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Safety, Purchasing, and Environmental teams.
• Support project reporting, documentation and closeout.
