Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Project Leader to oversee engineering work packages, ensuring delivery on cost, timeline, and quality. You will coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders, tracking schedules and resources to meet commitments.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and experience in engineering services delivery, with a strong focus on aerospace, automotive, or industrial sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Experience delivering engineering services projects with cost, schedule, and quality accountability.
• Knowledge of engagement models and project delivery methodologies.
• Experience leading projects without managing a work unit is acceptable.
• Engineering-focused industries experience preferred (aerospace, automotive, rail, etc.).
• Manufacturing or engineering background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of engineering work packages against cost, schedule, and quality goals.
• Lead project execution and coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Track schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables to ensure on-time completion.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation plans to protect delivery commitments.
• Serve as primary point of contact for project communications with customers and teams.
• Apply engagement and delivery models to support customer expectations.
• Drive accountability for project deliverables and customer commitments.
• Facilitate collaboration across engineering and support teams for successful outcomes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery efficiency and quality.
• Build strong customer and stakeholder relationships through effective leadership.

As a Project Leader you will be responsible for;

• Managing the delivery of engineering work packages, ensuring project objectives are achieved in terms of cost, timeline, and quality.
• Leading project execution activities while coordinating internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Tracking project schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful completion.

Qualifications;

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience working for an engineering services, consulting, or technical services organization in the United States or internationally.
• Demonstrated experience managing the delivery of work packages with responsibility for cost, schedule, and quality.
• Knowledge of engineering services engagement models and project delivery methodologies.
• Experience leading projects without necessarily managing a work unit or business unit.
• Experience within aerospace, automotive, rail, industrial, manufacturing, or other engineering-focused industries is preferred.
• Manufacturing or engineering background is preferred.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000 + Bonuses

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
