Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Project Leader to manage engineering work packages, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure delivery within cost, schedule, and quality constraints. The role emphasizes stakeholder communication and continuous improvement within aerospace, automotive, and other engineering-focused industries.

Salary range for the position is $90,000–$100,000 plus bonuses, with nationwide federal contractor considerations.

Qualifications

• Must have bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, business, project management or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in engineering services, consulting or technical services.
• Knowledge of engineering services engagement models and project delivery methodologies.
• Experience leading projects without managing a work or business unit.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of engineering work packages to meet cost, schedule and quality objectives.
• Lead project execution while coordinating internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Track schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful completion.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation plans to maintain delivery commitments.
• Serve as primary point of contact for communications with customers and project teams.
• Apply engagement and delivery models to support customer expectations and business objectives.
• Drive accountability for project deliverables and customer commitments.
• Foster collaboration across engineering and support teams to ensure project outcomes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery efficiency and quality.
• Build strong customer and stakeholder relationships through effective communication and leadership.

As a Project Leader you will be responsible for;

• Managing the delivery of engineering work packages, ensuring project objectives are achieved in terms of cost, timeline, and quality.
• Leading project execution activities while coordinating internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Tracking project schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful completion.

• Applying industry-specific engagement and delivery models to support customer expectations and business objectives.
• Driving accountability and ownership for project deliverables and customer commitments.
• Facilitating collaboration across engineering and support teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery efficiency and quality.
• Building strong customer and stakeholder relationships through effective communication and leadership.

Qualifications;

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience working for an engineering services, consulting, or technical services organization in the United States or internationally.
• Demonstrated experience managing the delivery of work packages with responsibility for cost, schedule, and quality.
• Knowledge of engineering services engagement models and project delivery methodologies.
• Experience leading projects without necessarily managing a work unit or business unit.
• Experience within aerospace, automotive, rail, industrial, manufacturing, or other engineering-focused industries is preferred.
• Manufacturing or engineering background is preferred.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000 + Bonuses
