Job summary

Sub-Zero, Inc. is seeking a driven Project Manager to lead cross-functional New Product Development efforts, guiding teams to deliver high-quality products that meet customer expectations.

You will manage requirements, schedules, costs, and documentation through phase-gate milestones. Responsibilities include planning, reporting, and coordinating product builds while ensuring stakeholder alignment and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or better in Engineering or related field.
  • 1-2 years: New Product Development Project Management or Project Coordinator.
  • Some level of formal Project Management training encouraged.

Job description

To lead product development projects by guiding a cross-function team of subject matter experts to create deliverables that lead to the successful launch of new, enhanced, or derivative products. Must lead and manage the creation of key project deliverables such as requirements, specifications, test plans, schedules, cost targets and ultimately high-quality products that meet or exceed our customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional New Product Development (NPD) teams
    • Core and sub team meetings, Management reviews, build activities, etc.
  • Report project progress
  • Project planning, monitoring, and controlling
  • Manage project through phase-gate process
    • Utilize the PDP process to achieve the expectations of each gate to increase the product and process maturity
  • Manage stakeholder expectations
  • Plan and execute product builds and outcomes
  • Create and monitor budgets around development , product cost and capital expenses
  • Create and control various types of project documentation
