Job summary

PeopleSpace is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead furniture installation projects from planning through completion at customer sites in the Reno area. You will coordinate dealer and manufacturer teams, review plans, schedules and budgets, and serve as the primary liaison with clients and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution.

The role requires strong communication, organizational abilities, and hands-on oversight of installation, punch walks, and post-install activities.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of commercial furniture and related building codes.
• Ability to plan, schedule and manage installation projects.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience coordinating with dealers, manufacturers, and contractors.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Establishes project scope and coordinates dealer/manufacturer teams.
• Develops work plans, schedules, and logistics based on client goals.
• Directs task assignments and monitors completion.
• Reviews site plans and product specifications.
• Acts as single point of contact for client and third‑party firms.
• Manages timelines and regular client reviews.
• Oversees installation and ensures timely delivery of field paperwork.
• Maintains detailed project documentation and status reports.
• Performs punch walks and documents installation issues.
• Coordinates post-punch activities and order processing.
