Project Lead Identity & Access Management

Job Overview:

Stratfield is seeking a Project Lead Identity & Access Management to join our client. This person will support a high-priority international technology expansion initiative, focused on identity management, cybersecurity and infrastructure security. This role requires a proactive and solution-oriented leader not a task-oriented project manager. A qualified candidate doesn’t need to be an expert with cybersecurity or identity management; however, that experience is a plus. This person must have an aptitude to investigate, devise solutions, test/revise solutions, work on multiple workstreams and work with tight timelines.

This is a contract opportunity that will be remote; however, it is highly desired that this person be based in Atlanta for occasional onsite meetings. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate 5–6 technology workstreams supporting international expansion efforts.
• Partner with internal teams and external vendors to drive solution development, testing, and implementation.
• Support identity and access management strategy and implementation (e.g., Okta or similar solutions).
• Contribute to infrastructure segmentation planning to enhance security posture and threat containment.
• Serve as a strategic liaison between internal leadership and vendor teams.
• Translate business needs into actionable technical plans; track progress and mitigate risks.
• Ensure solutions align with organizational objectives and launch deadlines.
• Investigate technical challenges and develop practical, scalable resolutions.

Qualifications:

• 12+ years of experience in technology infrastructure, security, or related solution delivery roles.
• Strong understanding of identity management and access control platforms (Okta preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to lead multiple concurrent technical workstreams.
• Excellent vendor management, coordination, and solutioning skills.
• Ability to think strategically and drive outcomes in fast-paced environments.
• Not a traditional “project manager”—must bring value through problem solving and initiative.
• Strong communication and leadership presence with both technical and business audiences.
• BS Degree.
