Job summary

Hamilton Storage Technologies is looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee customer projects from pre-sales through installation and validation. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering fundamentals, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and at least 5 years of experience in capital equipment development or construction project management. Hamilton offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in capital equipment development or construction project management.
• PMP certification is desirable.
• ISO 9000, ISO 13485 and FDA/CGMP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer projects from Pre-sales through installation and validation. This includes project planning, customer management, coordination of internal and external teams and resources, on‑site installation management, system validation, etc.
• Work with customers to develop any project‑specific technical documents as required.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of projects.
• Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
• Collaborate with peers to ensure resource availability and allocation.
• Develop detailed project plans to track and report progress.
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and cost.
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
• Report and elevate to Management as needed.
• Manage the relationship with the customer and all stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and project management tools.
• Manage large capital equipment/construction/technology projects.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.

Qualifications

• Must have a strong comprehension of mechanical and electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Must have strong communication, presentation, and writing skills.
• Must be a hands‑on project manager, willing to work in any role within the project as necessary.
• ISO 9000, ISO 13485 and FDA/CGMP experience is a plus.
• PMP certification is desirable.
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Project.

Education/Experience

• Bachelors Degree in a related field or comparable experience.
• 5 plus Years’ experience in capital equipment development or construction project management.
