Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Project IT support person to join a 1.3 GW simple-cycle power project in Millersport, Ohio. You will provide hardware, software and automation support for personnel on a large, complex project, setting up project networks, laptops and mobile devices.

The role starts in Reston and/or requires business travel for training before mobilization to the site. Strong English communication, documentation, and collaboration across project teams are essential to deliver IT services on

Qualifications

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
Excellent English oral and written communication skills and the ability to document technical reports and processes.
Excellent presentation skills.
Self-motivated individual with the ability to influence others.

Responsibilities

Provides IT operational/technical support on the project.
Implements and supports IT hardware deployments, network infrastructure systems and software.
Coordinates with project disciplines to evaluate software, upgrades and security patches.
Leads requirements reviews with functions and other stakeholders.
Manages the project file server, Teams, and SharePoint site.
Develops IT reports and dashboards and automates workflows.
