Investment Project Manager is responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of specific investment projects, including project screening, due diligence, feasibility analysis, investment program design, negotiation, implementation, and post-investment management. The goal is to achieve capital appreciation and strategic synergy for the company. The position requires strong financial analysis skills, sound business judgment, and excellent cross-team collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investment project screening and evaluation
- Collect and evaluate potential investment projects both within and outside the industry;
- Conduct industry research, analyze business models, assess financials, and build valuation models;
- Prepare project feasibility reports and investment proposals.
- Due diligence and program design
- Coordinate with financial, legal, and business resources to conduct due diligence;
- Design investment structures and transaction terms, draft investment agreements;
- Negotiate with target companies or related parties and facilitate project establishment.
- Investment process execution
- Organize internal approval processes, prepare materials for investment committees, and participate in reporting;
- Oversee signing of investment agreements, fund disbursement, and compliance procedures;
- Manage external intermediaries such as financial advisors and accountants.
- Post-investment management and exit support
- Monitor operational and financial performance of invested projects and communicate with management;
- Develop value-added management programs and exit strategies;
- Support exit activities including mergers, acquisitions, buybacks, and equity transfers.
Market and Industry Research:
- Research macroeconomic and industry trends to identify strategic investment opportunities;
- Establish project resource databases and evaluation models;
- Support major investment decisions with research findings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, economics, accounting, management, or related fields;
- 3-7 years of relevant experience in investment, investment banking, consulting, or financial analysis, with complete project investment experience preferred;
- Proficiency with equity investment processes, financing structures, and basic legal knowledge;
- Skilled in Excel financial modeling, valuation, and investment tools;
- Strong industry research skills and business analysis capabilities;
- Responsible, detail-oriented, with logical thinking and excellent communication skills; able to work in high-intensity project environments.
