Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology in Springfield, VA, is seeking a Project/Implementation Manager to lead end-to-end IT initiatives for intelligence customers. You will oversee milestones, procurement, and cross-functional teams in a high-stakes government environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct the end-to-end lifecycle of complex IT projects and systems engineering tasks from initiation through delivery.
• Drive technical staff, including engineers, developers, operations teams and multi-disciplinary service lanes.
• Manage scope, schedule, milestone-based invoicing inputs, and resource allocation to meet aggressive mission milestones.
• Proactively mitigate risks, identify technical bottlenecks, and drive rapid solutions to ensure zero mission downtime.
• Serve as the primary liaison and trusted advisor to intelligence customer stakeholders.
• Host high-level technical exchange meetings (TEMs) and participate in program reviews and briefings.
• Spearhead program growth by anticipating evolving customer requirements.
• Interact with vendors, other agencies, subcontractors, and client staff on behalf of the client.
• Coordinate development of deliverables and products and ensure QA of project outputs.

The likely salary range for this position is $125,800 - $170,200. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
