Position Overview

This position will design and implement appropriate technical services to ensure that client and project management needs are met. It includes performing field and office tasks as well as providing project management support for traditional assessment and remediation projects.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field.
• Minimum of 4 years in the environmental consulting industry with demonstrated progression in technical site investigation/remediation and task management.
• Proficient in designing field programs and managing projects and associated field activities – scheduling, coordination of tasks, budgeting, subcontractor negotiating/management.
• Experience planning, coordinating, and managing Site/Remedial Investigation field activities and performing hydrogeologic data interpretation.
• Demonstrated task/project management skills.
• Intermediate data evaluation and analytical skills.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with technical protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Ability and willingness to support the technical growth of staff professionals through hands-on interactions.

Essential Duties

• Field Coordination and Management: Set up work plans, supervise field activities, coordinate personnel, and implement project plans. May include executing field activities.
• Technical Data Review and Report Preparation: Review project data, interpret findings, and develop reports with remediation recommendations.
• Project Management: Monitor schedules, budgets, and invoicing to ensure compliance and project completion.
• Staff Mentoring and Training: Contribute to the development of junior staff and collaborate with senior management for professional growth.

Physical Demands/Work Environment

This role involves working both in the field and office. Fieldwork includes outdoor activities in various terrains and weather, requiring physical movement, lifting, and handling equipment. Office work involves computer use and repetitive hand movements.

Base Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000, with potential quarterly performance bonuses.
