Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

• Project planning and coordination including subcontractor procurement, sampling and health and safety plan development, project management support with client and regulatory interfacing
• Utility clearance coordination with one call (811) and private utility locators, clients, and contractors
• Conduct geological field investigations and data collection
• Analyze geological data and provide insights for project design
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for clients
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, and project managers, and ensure safety and compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology or related field
• At least 5 years in geological investigations and project management
• Professional Geologist (PG) License
• Strong oral and technical writing skills (required)
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record for business travel (required)
• Ability to travel out of town for up to 1 week at a time (preferred)
• Proficient in geological modeling and mapping software
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills

Additional Information

Training

this position requires 40-hour OSHA health and safety, first aid, and CPR training and medical monitoring, paid for by the firm. We also offer professional development opportunities including in-house seminars, webinars, and mentoring, that allow our professionals to build the technical and business skills necessary to become successful consultants
