Job summary

Quality Air Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Foreman with strong plumbing and pipefitting experience to lead installation teams on commercial and multi-family mechanical projects in the Washington DC Metro Area. The Foreman will supervise field operations, read mechanical drawings, coordinate schedules, and ensure hydronic piping systems are installed safely and to specification.

Strong leadership and hands-on troubleshooting are essential.

Qualifications

5+ years of HVAC, plumbing, or hydronic mechanical systems experience.
2+ years of leadership or foreman experience preferred.
Journeyman license required.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and specifications.
Strong leadership and communication abilities.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead plumbing/pipe-fitting crews on job sites.
Install and oversee hydronic heating/cooling systems, including dual-temp closed loop piping and related components.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Coordinate daily work schedules for field technicians and subcontractors.
Ensure installations meet project specifications, codes, and safety standards.
Conduct quality control inspections of installed systems and manage materials on site.
Train and mentor junior technicians and apprentices.
