PSI Pax, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Financial Analyst to join our team in Patuxent River, MD.

The role focuses on validating data in financial tracking tools and providing insights to division leadership, with a strong emphasis on Navy ERP reporting and DoD regulatory compliance. The candidate will mentor junior analysts and support project budgets and funding execution, including tracking commitments and expenditures and ensuring alignment with PPBE processes.

Qualifications

• : At least 10 years of experience in the functional area or 14 years with a Bachelor's degree in Technical, Business, CS, or IT.
• : At least three years of the most recent five years’ experience must directly support Navy ERP tasking.
• : Strong leadership and analytical capabilities.
• : Deep understanding of advanced concepts with minimal guidance.
• : Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
• : On-Site St.Inigoes support is required.

PSI Pax Inc has an exciting opportunity for a Project Financial Analyst, Senior, to join our team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Validate data in financial tracking tool against Jupiter/Advana and Navy ERP reports
• Brief financial insights to Division leadership (monthly/weekly) at Division, Branch and project level.
• Directs and mentors junior analysts and conducts training as necessary to enhance team understanding of financial tracking tools and application of analytical techniques.
• Assists with technical project budget execution at lowest task level.
• Assist with managing project funding acceptance and execution.
• Oversee financial activities such as tracking the flow of funding through commitments, obligations, expenditures, return and validating financial transactions in Navy ERP against division financial tracking tools.
• Analyze financial execution data and identify risks and mitigation strategies.
• Prepare cost-related insights to report variance in monthly plan versus actual expenditures and obligations.
• Develop expense and obligation plans at the lowest activity, sponsor, appropriation level.
• Knowledge of DoD Federal Management Regulations (FMR), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and PPBE process.
• Daily use of Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (Navy ERP) to extract, analyze and interpret business and financial reports.
• Monitor execution, benchmarks, and carry-over funding for all systems/projects consisting of multiple funding appropriations and provide recommendations to assist with meeting expenditure requirements.
• Compile project level financial data and report Branch level insights
• Validate data in financial tracking tool against Jupiter/Advana and Navy ERP reports
• Brief financial insights to Division leadership
• Directs and mentors junior analysts and conducts training as necessary to enhance team understanding of financial tracking tools and application of analytical techniques

Qualifications:

• At least 10 years’ experience in functional area above and a Master’s Degree (Technical, Business, Computer Science, or IT discipline)
• OR
• 14 year’s experience functional area above and a Bachelor’s Degree (Technical, Business, Computer Science, or IT discipline)
• At least three years of most recent five years’ experience must be directly supporting Navy ERP tasking
• Strong Leadership skills required
• In depth understanding of advanced concepts and processes and experience applying these with little to no guidance.

• Be able to perform successfully in complex, unstructured situations.
