Job summary

Ambrion is seeking a skilled FP&A and accounting professional to lead complex project accounting in a manufacturing setting. You’ll own month-end close, revenue recognition, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning, partnering with PM, engineering, and supply chain leaders.

Based in the Twin Cities, MN, this role offers hands-on business involvement and clear pathways to future leadership opportunities for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is required.
• Minimum 5+ years of accounting and FP&A experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex revenue recognition and financial accounting.
• Build forecasts and cash flow projections for active projects.
• Support general ledger functions and lead divisional workflows for financial close cycles.
• Identify efficiencies to accelerate reporting timelines and automate financial workflows.
• Prepare consolidated budget models and strategic analysis for leadership presentations.
• Collaborate with sales teams to optimize contract payment structures and cash flow.
• Establish financial health metrics to track project execution against established plans.
• Maintain internal controls and coordinate documentation for year-end external audits.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary Range: $115,000-$125,000
• This role is also eligible for various benefits, including:

• Actual base salary will be determined based on an individual's experience, skills, education, certifications, credentials, special skills, accomplishments, and other factors relevant to the position.
• This role is based in the Twin Cities. Applicants must currently reside in Minnesota or are planning to relocate to Minnesota in the near future.
