Job summary

AGAR in Greater Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Project Finance Coordinator to manage budgets, vendor pricing, and financial reporting across active projects. This on-site role reports to the Controller and offers growth into broader project finance responsibilities within a fast-paced environment.

You will build budgets using briefs and market data, track spends, reconcile, and support SOWs and change orders with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in estimating, procurement, vendor management, cost accounting, or project finance.
Ability to build accurate budgets quickly even with evolving scope or pricing.
Experience managing vendor quotes, negotiations, cost accountability, budgeting and project financial reporting.
Advanced Excel and accounting/reporting tools experience.
Clear communicator with discretion; background check may be required.

Responsibilities

Build timely project budget estimates using briefs, quotes, and data.
Source and manage vendors, compare quotes, negotiate terms, ensure accountability.
Track spend, monitor job costs and profitability, identify variances, report risks.
Support financial documentation: SOWs, change orders, reconciliations, closeouts, setup, reporting.
Maintain vendor rate databases and finance templates; support process improvements.
