Job summary

Navitas Resourcing Group is seeking a Project Finance Associate/Snr Associate for roles based in New York and Houston. You will join an established team responsible for origination, structuring and execution of project finance transactions across energy, infrastructure and natural resources sectors.

You will build complex financial models, perform credit analysis, prepare materials for investment committees and coordinate due diligence with sponsors and lenders.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in Project Finance, Infrastructure Finance, Energy Finance, Structured Finance or Investment Banking.
• Strong financial modelling skills with a solid understanding of project finance structures.
• Experience with DSCR, LLCR, debt sizing, cash flow modelling and financing structures.

Responsibilities

• Support origination, structuring and execution of project finance transactions.
• Build and review complex project finance models, including cash flow forecasts and debt sizing.
• Conduct financial, commercial and credit analysis of infrastructure and energy projects.
• Prepare credit papers, investment committee materials and transaction presentations.
• Coordinate due diligence and liaise with sponsors, lenders and legal advisers.
• Support negotiations, documentation and deal execution.
• Monitor ongoing transactions and credit portfolio performance.

I am currently partnering with a leading financial institution on an exciting opportunity to join its Project Finance team, with positions available in New York and Houston.

The successful candidates will join an established team focused on the origination, structuring and execution of project finance transactions across the energy, infrastructure and natural resources sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Associate looking to gain exposure to complex, high-value financing transactions and work alongside experienced professionals in a highly active market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the origination, structuring and execution of project finance transactions.
• Build, review and maintain complex project finance models, including cash flow forecasts, debt sizing, debt sculpting and sensitivity analysis.
• Conduct financial, commercial and credit analysis of infrastructure and energy projects.
• Prepare credit papers, investment committee materials and transaction presentations.
• Coordinate due diligence processes and liaise with sponsors, lenders, legal advisers and other key stakeholders.
• Support financing negotiations, transaction documentation and deal execution.
• Monitor existing transactions and assess ongoing credit and portfolio performance.
