Job summary

Social Capital Resources is seeking a Project Finance Specialist for its New York team. The ideal candidate has experience in structured finance, credit analysis, and financing transactions with a focus on infrastructure, energy, and large-scale projects.

You will analyze and structure transactions, develop financial models, assess risks, prepare memorandums, and support deal execution, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in project finance, structured finance, corporate banking, or credit analysis.
• Strong financial modeling, credit underwriting, and cash flow analysis skills.
• Experience with infrastructure, power, energy, or renewable energy financing preferred.
• Knowledge of loan structuring, credit agreements, and project finance documentation.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and structure project finance transactions, including debt financing for infrastructure, energy, and renewable energy projects.
• Develop and review financial models, cash flow projections, and credit analyses.
• Evaluate transaction risks, including financial, operational, and regulatory considerations.
• Prepare credit memorandums, investment presentations, and internal approval materials.
• Support deal execution, due diligence, documentation, and closing processes.
• Monitor existing project finance portfolios and assess ongoing credit performance.
• Coordinate with internal credit, risk, legal, and compliance teams, as well as external advisors.
