Job summary

CIBC in New York is seeking an Analyst to support the US Project Finance & Infrastructure team. The role focuses on financial modeling, analysis of counterparty statements, and assisting in due diligence and deal materials for management and credit groups.

You will collaborate with senior teams, prepare marketing materials and pitch books, interface with product groups, and help monitor the loan book through reviews and amendments. 0–2 years experience expected; strong teamwork and adaptability.

Qualifications

0–2 years of experience in energy and/or infrastructure finance.
Experience building financial models.
Able to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-deal environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Support the US Project Finance & Infrastructure team in executing new lending opportunities.
Assist in due diligence and preparation of marketing materials, pitch books, and industry reports.
Interface with internal product groups and external counsel.
Monitor booked assets and assist in annual reviews and amendments.
Collaborate with senior staff to prepare materials for management and credit group presentations.
