This role acts as the primary liaison between project teams and the home office, tracking receivables, retainage, and accruals to ensure healthy cash flow. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 2 years in project accounting, preferably in construction, with strong Excel and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of project accounting or financial analysis, preferably in construction.
• Experience with Spectrum or similar construction accounting software.
• Strong Excel skills with pivot tables and financial modeling.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills to present financial information to project teams.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines including weekly and month-end reporting cycles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project job cost records.
• Lead weekly financial meetings with the project management team.
• Submit reclass requests to the home office.
• Pull required documents for the PM team from Spectrum.
• Supply job cost reporting to the operations team.
• Maintain the accrual log and submit month-end close reporting.
• Submit AR invoicing to the home office.
• Draft lien waivers and supply to the home office.
• Maintain aged receivables logs and communicate to collect balances.
• Maintain log of retainage due and draft invoices.
