Job summary

Enerflex Ltd. in Tulsa, OK is seeking a procurement professional to manage purchasing activities within our manufacturing operations. You will coordinate with outside vendors to meet project schedules and maintain accurate SAP-MM records. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential.

The role requires 3–5 years of procurement experience in manufacturing and a bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent. Enerflex offers comprehensive benefits and a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience.
  • 3–5 years of procurement experience in manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of purchasing and contract principles.
  • Experience with SAP-MM or similar ERP systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate projects and deliverables with outside vendors to meet project production and on-site construction schedules.
  • Prepare expediting reports to communicate status of equipment and materials to project team/manager.
  • Update SAP purchase orders with correct delivery dates.
  • Resolve material discrepancies on shipments from suppliers.
  • Facilitate repair or replacement of defective materials.
  • Maintain knowledge of local factory representatives and authorized distributors.

Job description

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Currently, our organization is unable to consider candidates who require visa sponsorship or the transfer of an existing visa to obtain or maintain work authorization in the United States.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties
  • Work with outside vendors and service providers to coordinate projects and deliverables to meet project production and on-site construction schedules.
  • Prepare and provide expediting reports to project team/manager to communicate status of equipment and materials.
  • Update purchase orders in SAP with correct, accurate delivery dates on an as-needed basis
  • Resolve material discrepancies on shipments from suppliers.
  • Facilitate repair or replacement of defective materials.
  • Maintain knowledge of the local factory representatives and authorized distributors
  • Maintain current published price list and discount schedules.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of purchasing and contract principles
  • Knowledge of procurement methods and procedures
  • Professional attitude and be a team player.
  • Good organization, interpersonal and time management skills
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to successfully communicate with vendors, other employees, and the public.
  • Proven job diligence, dedication, and attention to detail
  • Comfort and experience interfacing with various levels of staff and management
  • Commitment to work overtime on occasion
  • Basic proficiency in use of computer and Microsoft Office (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, Adobe, etc.)
  • 2-4 years’ experience with SAP-MM or similar ERP system
  • Preferred Education and Formal Training:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience
  • Desired Experience:
  • 3 – 5 years of applicable procurement experience in the manufacturing sector of an engineered product
  • Knowledge of mechanical accessory components and equipment preferred.

Fast-paced general office environment. Many tasks have high degrees of time sensitivity.
