A nationally recognized affordable housing developer is actively seeking a Project Executive to oversee multiple high-impact multifamily projects throughout California.

This is a unique opportunity for a California-based construction leader ready to make a strategic move to a growing, lower-cost-of-living market while continuing to lead meaningful housing development. The ideal candidate brings experience managing projects in California's high-regulation environment and is looking for a fresh challenge with a vertically integrated, mission-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all phases of assigned multifamily construction projects, from preconstruction through turnover
  • Act as the main liaison between ownership, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and milestones with strict adherence to goals
  • Develop and enforce reporting protocols, documentation, and contract compliance
  • Oversee sub and vendor negotiations, cost tracking, and project forecasting
  • Uphold high standards of quality, safety, and productivity across multiple sites
  • Drive proactive issue resolution and maintain stakeholder alignment
  • Mentor junior team members and ensure project delivery meets or exceeds expectations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • 5–10+ years of construction project management experience, ideally in California
  • Strong working knowledge of project budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination
  • Skilled in project management tools such as Procore and Microsoft Project
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with affordable housing, multifamily, or public-private partnership projects

Experience:

  • Background in California construction standards and code compliance
  • Exposure to affordable or workforce housing projects with public or LIHTC funding
