Construction Project Executive (Telecom / Electrical Infrastructure)
About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Construction Project Executive to lead and oversee large-scale telecom and electrical infrastructure projects. This leadership role is responsible for operational excellence, financial performance, client relationships, project delivery, and team development across multiple concurrent construction programs.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in electrical contracting, telecom infrastructure deployment, utility coordination, and construction operations management. This individual will serve as a strategic leader who can drive project execution while maintaining safety, quality, and profitability standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide executive oversight for telecom and electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Lead project teams including Project Managers, Superintendents, Estimators, and Field Operations personnel
  • Manage project financial performance including budgets, forecasting, cost controls, billing, and profitability
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with telecom carriers, utility providers, municipalities, general contractors, and key clients
  • Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contract requirements
  • Oversee subcontractor management, procurement strategy, and resource allocation
  • Drive operational excellence through standardized project controls, reporting, and accountability
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on business growth strategies, staffing, and market expansion
  • Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety standards, and quality control procedures
  • Participate in executive-level meetings, client presentations, and strategic planning initiatives
  • Support business development efforts including proposal reviews, estimating strategy, and client acquisition
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in construction management within electrical contracting, telecom infrastructure, utility, or related industries
  • 5+ years in senior leadership or executive-level project oversight
  • Strong knowledge of telecom construction including fiber, wireless, DAS, small cell, broadband, and related infrastructure projects
  • Proven experience managing multimillion-dollar construction portfolios
  • Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and contract administration
  • Experience leading cross-functional construction teams in fast-paced environments
  • Knowledge of NEC, OSHA standards, and telecom construction practices
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite
