Job summary

Nox Group is seeking a Project Executive to lead cutting-edge projects across the Southwest, including commercial, industrial, mission-critical, and water/wastewater facilities. You will oversee multi-project portfolios with accountability for safety, schedule, cost, and client satisfaction.

This role requires a proven ability to manage large programs, mentor Project Managers, and collaborate with executive leadership to drive program success from preconstruction through final turnover.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering with 5+ years of project management experience.
  • Experience leading project teams and managing complex construction programs.
  • Ability to communicate with executives and clients; strong written and verbal skills.
  • Safety sensitive position; comply with EEO policies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple complex projects with accountability for safety, quality, schedule and budget.
  • Communicate and collaborate with VPs of Operations and Field Operations.
  • Ensure project team success and alignment with culture, values, safety, and profitability.
  • Manage project manager duties and responsibilities effectively.
  • Participate in business development, client relationships, and contract negotiations.
  • Maintain relationships with owners, engineers, architects, and trade partners.
  • Negotiate prime contracts, subcontract agreements, and purchase orders.
  • Oversee change orders and amendments within signatory limits.
  • Review cost models, estimates, and construction schedules for project success.
  • Facilitate smooth transition from preconstruction to construction.
  • Mentor and develop Project Managers for future leadership.

We are seeking a Project Executive to lead Cutting-Edge Projects Across the Southwest. As a Visionary Project Executive, you will oversee the construction of diverse and innovative projects across the Southwest, including commercial, industrial, mission‑critical, and water/wastewater treatment facilities. We are looking for someone with a proven ability to effectively manage multiple complex projects or large‑scale construction programs with unparalleled accountability and success.

Responsibilities
  • Ability to manage several complex projects, simultaneously, or a large construction program with a high degree of effectiveness and accountability
  • Effectively communicates and collaborates with the Vice President(s) of Operations and Vice President(s) of Field Operations
  • Has overall responsibility for project team success, including alignment with Corbins culture and Core Values, in addition to project safety, quality, schedule, client satisfaction and profitability
  • Ensures all Project Manager responsibilities are properly managed and executed
  • Participates in, or may lead, the business development process, including the establishment and management of client relationships, proposal development, presentations, and negotiations
  • Establishes and maintains professional working relationships with owners, engineers, architects, and trade partners
  • Responsible for understanding and negotiating prime contract terms and conditions, contract documents, subcontract agreements, and purchase order agreements
  • Ensures change orders and/or contract amendments are executed in a timely manner and within the signatory limits
  • Reviews cost models, cost estimates and construction schedules in detail to ensure project success from preconstruction to final completion
  • Champions the orderly and timely transition from preconstruction to construction
  • Mentors and develops Project Managers for future leadership roles
Qualifications
  • Ability to assume responsibility, interface and effectively communicate with others
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Positive and teachable attitude
  • Possesses excellent organizational, verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Experience leading project teams and successfully achieving project goals

Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering and a minimum of five (5) years of relative construction experience as a Project Manager, General Superintendent or similar
  • Extensive relative construction experience will be considered in lieu of formal education
