Job summary

Novax Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Project Executive to shape delivery of structural steel projects. You will lead planning from early phases through closeout, directing Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, Project Engineers, and field teams to keep projects moving.

You’ll oversee financial performance, review contracts, budgets and change orders, manage risk, and maintain strong client relationships. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience within structural steel.
• Experience overseeing complex commercial or industrial construction projects.
• Strong leadership and client management skills.
• Ability to travel up to 15%.

• Manage and support Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Project Engineers.
• Oversee monthly project billings and financial performance.
• Partner with leadership on project management team hiring and development.
• Serve as a senior point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Review contracts, budgets, schedules, and change orders.
• Manage project risk, scope changes, and client expectations.
• Coordinate closely with field operations, fabrication, and detailing teams.

This one is about helping shape how they're delivered.

As the structural steel division continues to grow, the business is looking for an experienced leader to provide direction across multiple projects, support project teams, and help ensure clients continue to receive the level of service and execution the company is known for.

You'll bring together Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, Project Engineers, field operations, fabrication, and detailing teams to keep projects moving in the right direction.

From early planning through to closeout, you'll oversee the bigger picture while supporting the teams responsible for day-to-day project delivery.

Success in this role isn't simply measured by reviewing reports. It's measured by team performance, strong client relationships, and the successful delivery of complex structural steel projects.
