Job summary

Metric DCX, a leading data center contractor, seeks a Project Executive to provide senior leadership across large-scale developments, overseeing project teams and maintaining senior-level relationships with clients, trade partners and stakeholders.

You will drive delivery across safety, schedule, cost and quality, oversee financial performance, and mentor Senior Project Managers while supporting business development and the growth of the mission-critical platform.

Qualifications

• Senior leader with experience overseeing large-scale data center/mission-critical programs.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and key stakeholders.
• Strong contracts and commercial management knowledge.
• Experience with project controls and risk management.
• Experience across preconstruction, procurement, construction and closeout.

We are partnering with an established national general contractor that is making a significant investment in the continued growth of its data center and mission-critical construction business. They are looking to appoint a Project Executive to provide senior leadership across major projects and support the continued development of the division.

The Role

The Project Executive will provide strategic and operational leadership across large-scale data center developments, overseeing project teams while maintaining senior-level relationships with clients, trade partners and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead project teams to ensure successful delivery against safety, schedule, cost and quality objectives.
• Maintain senior relationships with clients, subcontractors, design partners and key stakeholders.
• Oversee project financial performance, forecasting, contracts and risk.
• Support projects through preconstruction, procurement, construction and closeout.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to Senior Project Managers, Project Managers and wider delivery teams.
• Support business development, pursuits and the development of new client relationships.
• Assist with project staffing, resource planning and overall delivery strategy.
• Help develop best practices as the company's mission-critical platform continues to grow.

• Strong background with a general contractor in the data center/mission-critical sector.
• Proven experience providing senior leadership across major, high-value construction programs.
• Experience overseeing multiple project teams and senior construction professionals.
• Strong understanding of contracts, commercial management, project controls and risk.
• Excellent client-facing and relationship-management capabilities.
• Ability to combine successful project execution with broader strategic and commercial responsibilities.
