Teksky LLC in York, Maine is seeking a Project Estimator to join our team of professionals. You will prepare detailed estimates and budgets for custom residential projects, review plans, and coordinate material purchasing.

This role emphasizes cost control, accuracy, and collaboration with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep projects on time and on budget. Experience in residential construction estimating and Buildertrend/Excel is preferred, with opportunity for long-term

• Experience in residential construction estimating, project management, purchasing, or related field.
• Strong understanding of residential construction methods and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and construction documents.
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, organizational, and communication skills.

Are you experienced in residential construction estimating, detail-oriented, and passionate about building high-quality custom homes? We’re looking for an organized and proactive Project Estimator to join our team in York, Maine!

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in custom home construction, working closely with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and ownership to ensure projects are accurately estimated, properly budgeted, and efficiently managed from planning through completion.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare detailed estimates and budgets for custom residential construction projects.
• Review architectural plans, specifications, and construction documents.
• Obtain and compare pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Track project costs, monitor budgets, and identify potential cost issues.
• Coordinate material purchasing, orders, and deliveries.
• Support project managers with change orders, cost forecasting, and budget management.
• Review invoices, purchase orders, and project expenses for accuracy.
• Maintain organized project records and assist with final cost reconciliation.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in residential construction estimating, project management, purchasing, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of residential construction methods and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and construction documents.
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and/or Buildertrend.
• A proactive, dependable team player who takes ownership and follows through.
• Experience in custom residential construction is a must.
