Job summary

You will analyze blueprints, assess cost effectiveness, and collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to prepare actionable estimates for sales planning and scheduling. Strong MS Office and CAD familiarity are valued.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cabinetry construction is a plus.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.
• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college/technical school.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak before groups clearly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Assess cost effectiveness of products, materials, projects, or services to decide whether to produce or purchase components.
• Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Prepare estimates used by management for Sales, planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
• Legibly sketch rough layouts and details as needed.
• Review product design, related specifications or design changes for compliance, or customer contract requirements.
