Job summary

E-Green Exterior Solutions, LLC in Provo, Utah is seeking a skilled Estimator to join our growing Preconstruction team. You will review plans, perform takeoffs, coordinate bids, and support purchasing to ensure clear, accurate estimates.

You will collaborate with Sales and other estimators, track addenda and VE options, and help drive successful project outcomes with attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

You’ll be a critical member of our Preconstruction team, responsible for reviewing plans,

creating and coordinating bids, supporting purchasing efforts, and ensuring clarity and accuracy

throughout the estimating process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be an active participant in the estimating and bidding processes


• Collaborate with Sales and other Estimators to review bids before submittal


• Conduct thorough reviews of all bids, plans, and spec books


• Perform accurate takeoffs using On Screen Takeoff software


• Track and document addenda, RFIs, VE options, and scope discussions


• Assist Superintendents and Project Managers with scope-related questions


• Participate in job walks and pre-construction activities


• Print plans, colored elevations, and expansion joint layouts


• Review contracts and scopes of work


• Assist Purchasing with obtaining vendor/sub quotes


• Manage project data and reports using Sage software and Excel
  
• Stay current with RFI, ASI, and VE changes for awarded projects

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and scopes


• Ability to stay focused and think critically through complex documents for extended periods


• Familiarity with On Screen Takeoff (or a similar platform)


• Excellent communication and documentation skills


• High attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset


• Ability to work collaboratively across departments
