LeoForce, a trusted fire protection specialist in Southern California, seeks an experienced Estimator/Project Manager in Los Angeles. You will develop cost estimates, analyze drawings, and collaborate with engineers and contractors on sprinkler system design.

The role emphasizes budgeting, risk analysis, and delivering accurate estimates to support large commercial projects. A strong technical background and client-facing communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction estimation.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, BlueBeam, and related software.
• Deep knowledge of fire protection, especially sprinkler design.
• Strong project estimation and budgeting skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical docs.
• Excellent math and analytical abilities.
• Strong written/spoken communication.
• Capable of meeting tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects (materials, labor, equipment, time).
• Analyze blueprints, specs, and proposals to estimate time, cost and labor.
• Conduct risk analysis and mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, clients, contractors and subs.
• Use AutoCAD/Bluebeam to prepare estimates.
• Design and estimate fire protection systems (sprinklers).
• Review material and labor requirements for buy vs make decisions.
• Maintain directory of suppliers and subcontractors.
• Produce reports on progress and trends with recommendations.

Our company is looking for an Estimator/Project Manager to join our well-established team. This role is pivotal in helping us to plan and budget our projects effectively. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the construction industry, specifically in relation to project estimation, budgeting, and fire protection systems. Responsibilities

• 1. Preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and time requirements.
• 2. Analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
• 3. Conducting risk analysis and providing strategies to mitigate potential challenges.
• 4. Collaborating with Engineers, Architects, Clients, Contractors, and Subcontractors on project cost estimates.
• 5. Utilizing specialized software (AutoCAD, Bluebeam) for the preparation of estimates.
• 6. Designing and estimating fire protection systems, specifically Fire Sprinkler System Design.
• 7. Reviewing material and labor requirements to decide whether it is more cost-effective to produce or purchase components.
• 8. Preparing and maintaining a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors.
• 9. Preparing reports and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends, and appropriate recommendations or conclusions.

Qualifications

• 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimation.
• 2. Proficiency in AutoCAD, BlueBeam, and other relevant software.
• 3. Extensive knowledge and experience in fire protection, specifically Fire Sprinkler System Design.
• 4. Strong skills in project estimation and budgeting.
• 5. Proven ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documents.
• 6. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
• 7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• 8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• 9. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
• 10. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred.
