About the Role - Be a part of a fast-paced team estimating a wide variety of construction projects in the industrial, commercial, warehousing, agricultural, manufacturing, residential sectors and more.

Responsibilities -

1. Create competitive, accurate and thorough pre-sale designs and estimates for building systems in accordance with company processes and practices.
2. Provide clear verbal and written communication with customers and teammates.
3. Receive and clarify quote requests to provide well-qualified proposals with all assumed and provided information for the project.
4. Understand and support company service practices, customer needs, division goals and influence acceptable results for both company and our Customers.
5. Utilize knowledge of current building codes for design of building elements.
6. Maintain an understanding of company products and usage.
7. Effectively interpret architectural, structural, and mechanical project drawings.
8. Assist Customers in recognizing “value engineering” opportunities.
9. Generate high-quality work in a fast-paced environment while meeting scheduled deadlines.
10. Travel to assist our customers as needed.
11. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Required Skills -

1. 2 years of Metal Building or Construction related industry experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, Architecture, or other related field.
2. Can currently read, understand and comprehend Architectural, Structural, and Mechanical project drawings.
3. Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Access, and 2-dimensional drawing software.

Preferred Skills -

1. 2+ years Metal Building Design, Detailing, or Estimating experience.
2. Working knowledge of pre-engineered metal building systems.
3. College Degree in Construction related field.
