Job summary

Apex Companies, LLC is seeking a Project Environmental Scientist to join our Northeast Division's Environmental Team in Maryland. The role involves field sampling, data analysis, and reporting on civil/environmental projects, with opportunities to participate in regulatory reporting and Phase I/II assessments.

You will collect samples, interpret results, and support due diligence while benefiting from a collaborative culture, safety training, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science or related field.
• 3+ years of environmental field sampling, data collection, and report preparation.
• Strong communication skills and safety awareness; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Collect soil, water, and/or air samples using various techniques.
• Analyze, interpret, and report data.
• Assist with due diligence (ASTM Phase I/Phase II) projects.
• Support MCP-based reporting (IRA, Phase I–V, Permanent Solutions).
• Contribute to field and reporting tasks and career growth.
• Collaborate with staff and management on field/reporting duties.
